1  \  Session Fees & Rebates

We offer Face to Face & Online Therapy Sessions, where a standard consult (50-minutes) is priced at $240 per session. As the initial appointment is largely dedicated to assessing & exploring the presenting problem and getting to know you, we also offer optional extended intake appointments (90-minute duration) to those who would like to begin the early stages of treatment from the very first session (proportionately priced to the standard 50-minute session at a fee of $400). Medicare rebates are available for those with a valid Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) referral from their doctor (either a GP or Psychiatrist; see our FAQ for more information), although no referral is required to start therapy if you do not intend to claim rebates. Couples Therapy is also available, priced at the same fee rate as individual therapy sessions.

2  \  Therapy & Counselling

Collectively, our therapists have experience treating a variety of mental health issues beyond OCD, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Complex & Childhood Trauma, Complex Grief, Body Dysmorphia & Eating Disorders, Trichotillomania (hair pulling) & Excoriation Disorder (skin picking), Generalised Anxiety, Social Anxiety, and Mood disorders including Persistent & Major Depression, and Bipolar Disorder. We also have experience working with Depersonalisation & Derealisation Disorder and Dissociation, Personality Disorders, ADHD, Relationship issues, health anxiety, health problems (including IBS) & medically unexplained symptoms, Functional Neurological Symptom Disorder (FND, also known as Conversion Disorder), chronic pain, and more. Collectively, our clinicians offer numerous treatment approaches including Metacognitive Therapy, CBT (including ERP), ACT, Schema Therapy, EMDR, Emotionally Focussed Couples Therapy, & Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP).

3  \  Assessment & Formal Diagnosis

We are trained in the clinical psychological assessment and formal diagnosis of mental health conditions and other issues, including Learning Disorders (WIAT-III), Adult ADHD, and Cognitive Assessments (i.e., intelligence testing using psychometric tests: WISC-V & WAIS-IV). Please get in touch to learn more. Due to our limited availability for assessments, we often refer individuals seeking adult ADHD assessments to a colleague: SEC Psychology.

4  \  Private Health Insurance, Third Party Funding, & NDIS Funding Information

Private Health Insurance: Therapy sessions may be reimbursed through private health care, but please note this reimbursement cannot be claimed in conjunction with Medicare MHCP rebates, instead only rebate at a time per session. Your insurer will be able to confirm what benefits you may be eligible for, and the amount to be reimbursed.

Third Party Funding: Due to our limited availability, we are unable to accept other Third Party Funding sources (such as work-cover, VOCAT etc.) at this time.

NDIS Funding: We are unfortunately not an eligible service to accept NDIS funding for appointments. Our Psychologists' training and professional competencies are around the treatment of mental health concerns, and  therefore the therapy sessions are not an eligible service to accept NDIS funding, where the NDIS stipulates that its funding for psychology sessions can only be used for capacity building, and will therefore not fund sessions focussed on the psychological treatment of mental health conditions.

If you are looking for a Psychologist who can offer NDIS services, we often refer individuals to our colleagues at Meliora Psychology, who also offer ASD & ADHD assessments.
